Freaking Out!!

Okay everyone, we leave in FOUR days for Romania and I'm starting to freak out just a little!! I'm not that nervous about being in Romania for four months, I"m mostly nervous about when we're getting there. See the rest of our group isn't getting to Romania until the 2nd, at least that's when our facilitator will be there and everyone else will be arriving on the 4th. Justin and I thought it would be fun to stay in Bucharest for a few days and to be there over New Years Eve...we didn't really think that through too well. So we're going to arrive at the Bucharest airport on Dec 31 and have no where to go!! AH! I'm so excited! but so nervous at the same time!! I know we'll be fine, but still..AH!! Anyway, we are super excited to go on our little adventure and we'll keep everyone posted. AH!!

Cabo day 1-2

So I am laying in bed right now at the close of day 2 in Cabo San Lucas. I can't really express how awesome it is here nor can I get the pictures that I want to upload to upload but it doesn't really matter because they don't do it justice. We arrived yesterday My aunt and uncle, Marcie and Clark, picked us up and took us to Casa Joya Del Mar in the pedregal area of Cabo. Every house in the area is over a million and thats real cheap for around here they reach 21 mil plus. We are on a cliff that overlooks the beach, last night we drove around and explored a bit and then went to dinner at Los Deseos, the food was good we had an awesome melted cheese appetizer and some gelato from Senor Sweets afterwards! Then we went home and crashed. Brittany and I had been up all night prior doing homework and tying up some loose ends. Today we woke up around 10 or 11 sat around the pool for several hours and then headed to the beach. The waves were too strong for swimming so the signs said, I would've went anyway but I was restrained by someone who cares for me. So we walked around and took pictures, climbed rocks and watched some fisherman pull out some great catches. Afterwards we went to dinner at La Fonda it was pretty good. Tonight we sat out on the pool deck and lazed about a bit. The pool heater is having some troubles so we didn't get in, hopefully that will be fixed tomorrow. Enjoy the pics if I ever get some.
Adios!

Cabo and vids

So I tried to post a video for a final on this site tonight, I started with a 60mb file and broke it down to an almost unviewable 4mb none of them were able to load, total bummer. However I did successfully get it onto facebook. If only BYU allowed Youtube.
We are headed to the airport in approximately 5 hours for Cabo San Lucas! we're pretty excited about where we're staying, we got hooked up! check out the link for some pictures.
We'll be there until thursday the 18th and then it'll be work like crazy until we leave for Romania on the 30th! I'm so excited but stressed at the same time, its a big move even for young college kids.

Complaining...

I've been thinking a lot about the concept of complaining and have been wondering why we do it so much. It seems like we want to make sure that everyone knows how bad our lives are and we want to make sure that everyone knows how busy and stressed out our lives are making us. We want to be the most busy and most stressed out of anyone that we know, why is that? Why can't we just simply be grateful for our wonderful lives? We all know that parts of our life are going to be difficult and stressful, can't we move past that? I think often times we focus so much on how crazy life is that we forget to cherish the wonderful moments. And frankly I think there are a whole lot more wonderful moments to life then there are bad ones. This is just something that I've been thinking about lately and wanted to remind myself, and those I love to remember to focus on all that is good and wonderful in life. Forget about trying to prove how much we have to do and just know that everyone is in your same situation. Show everyone how wonderful your life is and remember it! Also, I found this quote that I really like and thought i would share, it helps me to keep perspective and know that if I don't like it, I can change it!

If you have time to whine and complain about something then you have the time to do something about it.  ~Anthony J. D'Angelo

The throw down

So we've been debating whether or not to put down a "first post" and finally decided that as cheesy as it may be its just to difficult to act like we've had a blog for years but just started telling people about it. So here it is; our life in pictures and text, we're excited about being able to log all of our adventures big and small. Prepare to be astounded!
