Okay so I lied...sorry about that. Justin is in Canada for a conference so we haven't been able to communicate very much, only by email and if we're lucky we can google chat at the end of the day and because I'm a terrible liar I knew that this was one of the only times I could really get him and he wouldn't be able to tell by my voice, so I just had to do it. I sent him an email this morning with a picture explaining what happened and thought that it would make it even more real if I blogged about it too. I made Jackson's cast out of an old nursing cover that they gave me at the hospital so that I would have a picture as proof. It was a tad elaborate, but it did the trick. I just talked to Justin online and he was definitely fooled. However, for some reason I feel kinda bad about tricking everyone. I'm not so sure about this April Fools thing...maybe next time I'll try one that doesn't involve someone getting hurt..

good trick! I'm glad that Jackson didn't really break his arm! :) Last summer my then 18 month old nephew broke his leg and it was mega sad. the poor kid crawled around for two months with his little soccerball cast.
