Sewing

So I've started to get into sewing...just a little bit. So far I've only made an apron and patched up a bunch of our jeans, but I'm really excited about sewing and feel like my possibilities are endless. I've even signed up to take a sewing class from BYU next semester to hopefully help myself learn the basics. Some of the girls in my ward had to teach me how to thread my own machine..how embarrassing. Anyway I found this great blog that makes me even more excited about sewing, but also nervous because she doesn't use any patterns, but the things she makes are darling! Its called elleapparel.blogspot.com...one day I may become daring enough to make something from here.

    Good for you! I love sewing too and took it up again recently after a very long break. Have fun with it. I'll have to check out that blog you like and add it to my list of favorites. By the way - I love how you have the slide shows running on the side. Is that pretty easy to figure out?
