Hendricks Happenings

Here are a few things that have been going on with us the past month.

First lets start with Easter. We had a little get together with our apartment complex playgroup and had a pool party, barbeque, & Easter egg hunt. The kids had a lot of fun and Jackson asked to go find Easter eggs for quite a while after that.

Easter Egg Hunting

Next the missionaries from our church came over and Jackson loved just sitting next to them on the couch.

One of our wonderful friends gave us a gift card to TGI Friday's for no apparent reason so we put it to good use and had a family date night. The boys got all dressed up and they looked so cute I just had to take some pictures! They practically match in their plaid shirts, unintentionally of course :)

Daddy gave Jackson a haircut! He sat pretty still, but really hated all the hair falling on him. We did eventually have to give him the iPod to keep him sitting, but he did great! Usually we just buzz his hair, which is a lot faster but this time we tried scissor cutting it, we'll have to keep working on that...  

 The weather has been so nice lately that we've been outside all the time. This is one of Jackson's favorite past time, riding his bike around and he's getting pretty good at it too!

This morning Jackson wanted to watch a movie on the iPod and we told him he couldn't, so when Justin & I got up to clean up breakfast this is how we found him when we came back. He stayed in this position for a good 10-15 minutes. 

We have some exciting things coming up in May. We're going to St. Louis/Quincy to visit family and are planning to stop in Indiana on our way to visit with some friend we haven't seen in a long time. We are so excited! Then when we get home we'll start to prepare for Italy!! Stay on the look out for posts about our trips!
