Cafeneaua Actorilor
Tonight Brittany and i had our first eating out experience in Romania. On of the hostel staff told us to go to the Cafeneaua Actorilor which means "The Actors Cafe". She said to take bus 300 down to the end of the line in Bucharest and that it was next to the National theater and Intercontinental hotel. Because the ticket shop was closed we just got on the bus and hoped no one asked to see our tickets. Once we got off of the bus it wasn't hard to find the theater or the hotel but it was really difficult to find the restaurant, we walked down every street in the hotel until we decided to walk around the theater which we hadn't done because the street was dark and we were being careful when we got around back of the opera house (next to the theater) we noticed some lights and checked it out. It happened to be the restaurant and so we headed in. We stood there waiting for a host or hostess for about 2=3 minutes and finally just sat down, turns out they don't have hosts and hostesses at that restaurant, not really sure about the rest of Romania but we'll find out. We spoke in broken Romanian to the waitress and did pretty well, we had pizza and Brittany got a unfuzzy navel, a citrus juice drink, the food was pretty goodturns out pizza is a popular food item in Romania as we saw a lot of pizzerias today and it was pretty much the only thing on the menu tonight. Our biggest mistake of the evening was not realizing the difference between fumatori and nu fumatori which means smoking and non-smoking, I didn't realize that until after so we sat in the smoking section which wasn't too bad, smoking is really popular in Romania so I suppose we'll have to get used to it. Afterwards we headed back on bus 300 to the villa. Pretty exciting evening, it was fun to see down town bucharest it is done up in some sweet lights and there are a lot of memorials to victims of the '89 revolution as well as stickers and graffiti the say things like honor '89 or remember '89 tomorrow we are going to check out Revolution square which should be really interesting. For now we're going to get to bed and let you know what happens tomorrow.

Sounds very exciting so far, You are much braver than I. I don't think I would dare just go walk around the city. Keep us up to date!
